The concept of BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) managed to find its way into the policies of a series of restaurants and events. If a venue does not hold a liquor license or as a personal preference of the host, this option is always an excellent solution. Now, this concept has been applied in a new way that has enticed many gourmet food enthusiasts.
The restaurant Ten Room, part of the luxury hotel Café Royal in London, introduced a new initiative called BYOI (Bring Your Own Ingredients). Creators of the project are chefs Andrew Turner and Armand Sablon. The idea is meant to give guests the opportunity to choose their own ingredients with which the culinary chefs will prepare their lunch or dinner.
The only thing you have to do it choose what you would like your meal to include. Choose everything - the spices, vegetables, and meat. After this, you will get a chance to meet with the chefs to discuss the upcoming meal in the kitchen of the restaurant, in the company of some champagne and various appetizers. After everything has been agreed upon, the chefs will begin work on their masterpiece.
A minimum of four people are required to make this unique experience a reality, as well as a reservation at least 48 hours ahead of time. The price of the BYOI menu is $108 per person.
