it is also a system change towards an integrated, all electric, local, flexible and smart energy system. At the Webit Festival in Sofia I will tell you about a real paradigm change in transport and electricity. In the near future, fuel cell electric vehicles come on the market that can provide more efficient and cleaner transportation. But we use our cars for transportation only 5% of the time. So the idea is that, when parked, the fuel cell in our car can produce electricity from hydrogen, cleaner and more efficient than the current electricity system. And when cars can drive autonomously

they can supply electricity wherever we need it.

We can produce hydrogen from biogas, biomass and from hydro-, wind and solar electricity. When there is a shortage of electricity production by renewables, the fuel cell in our cars can provide all electricity we need. One fuel cell car with 20 kg hydrogen in the tank can easily produce all electricity during a day for 100 European houses. In fact, fuel cell cars can replace all power plants in the world in a few years.

As a result, “Our car as power plant”, can create a smart, integrated, clean, reliable and affordable transport and energy system. And the nice thing is that you will get paid for parking your car.

It has been pointed out again and again that “green” energy is not being adopted as much due to the lobbying from more traditional businesses – ranging from oil interests, to energy plants, to countless corporations. What more can more be done to get “green” energy to more households?
Of course there has been massive lobbying from traditional fossil energy business in favor of their own business. But we are on the verge of a new era. Large energy corporates are changing their
