with a unique direct-to-fan offering that is both rich and engaging for our users. And in return we've delivered incredible value exchange for both fan and artist.

We’re used to hearing about the challenges that your business presents to the movie/music industry, what are the challenges that you and your field face?
We see great promise for distributed technologies like BitTorrent, especially in light of the significant challenges facing us in the years ahead. Only technologies like ours are able to scale and efficiently grow into this new paradigm of connected devices. While we sometimes battle very narrow preconceptions about these technologies, the hard reality of the challenge before us will eventually break through and carry us towards a future for the Internet that looks more like BitTorrent.

What are your plans for the development of BitTorrent – a year from now, 5 or even 10 years from now? Where would you like to take it?
While the consumer software and media markets are obvious success stories, we've recently been expanding into new markets and in particular see great potential in the Enterprise. Some of the largest companies on the Internet already use BitTorrent technology to solve their biggest and hardest data distribution problems. And it makes perfect sense. Why not use the most proven technology yet invented for reliably moving big data? Why not use BitTorrent technology that is able to operate efficiently in almost any network environment? We've been building products like BitTorrent Sync to target exactly these customers and so far the response has been exceptionally good with strong adoption among some of the biggest brands in the business world.
