A Limited Edition Surprise from Miss Dior

The spirit of Dior Haute Couture, embodying its own strive for perfection, uniqueness and elegance, the Miss Dior Edition d'Exception fragrance comes alive. The infamous French designer, Christian Dior, created the iconic aroma Miss Dior in 1947 and defines it as "a scent that smells like love". The new version - Miss Dior Edition d'Exception, is curated in 2012 by the perfumer Francois Demachy using the characteristic citrus undertones of tangerine, Egyptian jasmine, rose, patchouli and musk from the original Miss Dior Eau de Parfum.

The classic design of each of the 25 flasks is made complete by an elegant white & pink bow, handmade by a lace craftsman with great precision. A total of 5.5 metres of fabric and five hours of time dedicated to each piece were required to create the 25 bows. A careful technique using watercolour makes the lace appear more delicate. Each floral motif is finely cut, tinted and folded by hand before being clipped to the thick, two-sided "leathery" Japanese satin - the base of the bow on the flask of Miss Dior. The final touch is the ethereal stripe of darker pink colour outlined by hand along the edges of of the floral motifs. Above the bow, the cap of the flask dazzles the eye with polished crystal in tender nuances.

Miss Dior Edition d'Exception will be made available in 200ml flasks at the price of $1 900 in a limited selection of Dior's global chain of stores. You will definitely be able to find at least one of the exquisite bottles in the Dior boutique at Marina Bay Sands, in Singapore.
