Soon, visitors to Hotel Cipriani in Venice will have a chance to have dinner prepared by the hotel’s chef, Renato Piccolotto, or Cips restaurant’s Roberto Gatto. Well, if that does not sound enticing enough, how about this… The three-course meal will be served at a big dinner table suspended 50 metres in the air, above the hotel’s pool. 22 guests at a time will be invited up for the ‘Dinner in the Sky’. The paying guests will be treated to a one-hour meal on a platform capable of rotating up to 180 degrees. From June 19 to 23, the meals will commence daily at 8pm and 9:30pm, and will cost €250 per person. Alternatively, guests can opt for the half-hour aperitivi, during which they will be served appetizers and pre-dinner libations. Offered daily at 5:15pm, 6pm and 6:45pm the aperitivi will cost €50 per person.
